Reiki

Reiki refers to a simple hands-on-healing technique. It is called ‘life-force energy’ and is a process of healing brought about by use of hands laid on the body in certain positions.

Rei – means spiritual or sacred
Ki – represents that primal life energy/force of the Universe

Therefore Reiki represents that spiritual source of the Universe or Universal Life Force energy. With Reiki when the therapist lays their hands  (non-intrusively) on or slightly above the clients body, the energy can flow using the therapist as a channel through to the client.  It is this flow of energy which facilitates the unique ability of the body to heal itself.

Reiki is both powerful and gentle. It is non-evasive, so when the client’s energy levels  are low or blocked and the immune system is weakened Reiki helps to improve them both by making the body more resilient to illness within. Reiki helps the client achieve ‘homeostasis’ or balance within their mind, body and spirit.

Reiki can help everyday complaints like, back pain, colds, and flu, constipation, fever, ear infections and panic attacks.

It also helps chronic conditions such as, angina, arthritis, asthma, blood pressure, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, eczema, hay fever and migraine.

Reiki helps promote feelings of, love, compassion, understanding and acceptance within the client.
